Piquiri River, Cuiabá River and TrêsIrmãos in the Meeting of the Water State
Park. The region is one of the best wildlife sanctuaries, and it has the
highest density of jaguar population, in the entire Pantanal. We have more
than 90 % chances to see Jaguars, especially from mid June to mid November.
The base to explore the region is the Camp, a comfortable and cozy Tented
Camp located on the banks of the Cuiabá River in the vicinity of the state
park. This camp-lodge is the ideal place for travelers who seek tranquility
and intimacy. You will have exclusive use of a Pantanal Nature boat and
equipment along with your own private guide and boatman. They are expert at
handling the boats and approaching Jaguars with minimal disturbance. Because
of their experience on the water they are also usually expert Jaguar
spotters. The best time of year to see these creatures is from June-October,
when water levels are lower, but any time of the year will provide a
rewarding experience.
